Our afternoon was spent in the ancient city of Hebron containing the tombs of the Patriarchs and a place of much dispute. We met a retired Christian gentleman from Kent who was volunteering for an NGO committed to monitoring checkpoint behaviour.
Later in the afternoon we met an another group represented by an Israeli Jew and a Palestinian, each sharing their own moving stories, and their commitment to non-violent work – their hope was that the country would live in peace.
