The place where Jesus spent much of his time. The place where many of his disciples had their living. This site was the place where Jesus prepared breakfast on the beach for his fishermen friends after his resurrection. They were confused and devastated, so they returned to what they knew. After a night of unsuccessful fishing they met Jesus who told them to fish on the other side of the boat — they caught a huge catch. That intimate meeting on the beach led into Jesus’ urging them to keep following him.
