We enjoyed a swift foot tour of the city, hearing about the earthquake in the 80’s. The city has differing areas serving very divergent outlooks and interests. We finished up in the Great American Music Hall listening to the tail end of a Rockabilly concert – it was AMAZING. I have to say, I’ve never experienced anything quite like it — by the end of the evening at 12:30, Alan was sitting thoughtfully at the rear of the concert hall with arms crossed, while Corey and I worked our way to the front where the action was happening — immersed in sound.
