The Shkendije Foundation had its beginning in the nearby seaside town of Shengjin. Vali was the first person to join Rachel Wilson in her children’s ministry work, whose HQ has now moved into the capital city of Tirana. Vali continues to develop the ministry in Shengjin. And so my next few days were spent with Vali and her policeman husband Sokol and their 15 month son Sion, in the nearby bigger town of Lezhe.
