AN EVENING STROLL TO MACEDONIA

  Anila treated me to a delightful evening yesterday (Thursday), together with Klajadi, one of her assistants, we took a few minutes taxi ride to the Albanian/Macedonian border, and walked across! First through the Albania check, then a few hundred metres through no-mans-land to the Macedonian check. We set off through woodland glades, following a track which passed two ancient Orthodox churches and then the famous monastery of St Naum which clings to the shores of L Ochrid.
