My final three days are back in Tirana with Rachel Wilson and our team in the Shkenidje Foundation.
The Spark Urban Outreach project is helping Tirana churches get beyond their doors and serve children in their local community. Last year we partnered with six churches by presenting twelve weeks of training and practical children’s ministry. This year we’ve just recruited four churches.
Last evening we took the Van to a village in the Tirana suburbs for their first of twelve outreach sessions 60 children attended. I spoke with a pastor who told me after last year’s programme at his church, the children’s ministry has been doubled in numbers. Bottom-right: Matilda, one of our staff de-briefing the church team.
