FOR THE LOCALS IT WAS THEIR EVERYDAY TRANSPORT!

By far most of the passengers were locals. And few of them remained for the full three-hour trip. At various points the boat would veer off to a to a shoreline landing in the trees to either drop off passengers and pick up more people. Quite where they went or came from we didn’t know — there must have been homesteads in the cliffs on terraces. The scenery was breath taking.
